The home has all radiant floor heat. There is radiant floor heat in the garage. There is a 12,000 gallon water tank for catchment. Water for this house is caught and stored. The system is seamless and has pressure tank and pump for distribution throughout the house. There is a sump pump for the master bedroom waste which pumps up and out to the septic system. Property Description

This log home is three stories, master on lowest level, living on main level and loft guest bedroom. The owners are both retired architects and we gutted the original house and reworked all areas. All logs have been maintained which is a requirement of ownership. There are three canyons on the property which is totally surrounded by National Forest, BLM or State land. There are a few cabins adjacent to the land and occasionally owners come stay for a month or so. Otherwise this is the only full time occupied house on the mountain. San Antonio Mountain is the largest free standing (not attached to any mountain range) mountain in 48 states. It stands 10,908 ft above sea level. The house is at 9200 ft. There is a 3 car attached garage with glass automatic doors and an office space above the garage. There is also a small shop area between the garage and the house. Hot tub. Neighborhood Description

There is really no neighborhood. There is a small subdivision up one canyon of the mountain which has approximately 12 cabins. These are mostly used by hunters. There are a few owners who come in the summer.

Market Area

This home is 50 miles west and north of Taos, New Mexico. It is approximately 20 miles south of Antonito, Colorado. Antonito contains fueling stations, grocery store, restaurants, drug store and medical facilities. Taos is a larger community with all necessary facilities.
