Carson, New Mexico is a very unique and precious community located 40 minutes from Taos, New Mexico. There is a great store down the road where you can get virtually anything you need including deli sandwiches and home made Pizza. Ojo Caliente is 20 minutes away where you can go to the European style outdoor spa and soak for hours. Espanola is also 40 minutes away and Carson is about half an hour closer to Santa Fe and Albuquerque than Taos.Market Area
The three primary larger markets near to Carson are Taos, Epanola and Ojo Caliente. A little further south is Santa Fe and further south again is Albuquerque. Taos is 40 minutes away and is famous for it's Art galleries, Restaurants and and Ski Area. Taos is primarily a destination for travelers and so there is usually lots of great things to do. Espanola is a bigger shopping market than Taos with a Lowes, Super Walmart etc. Ojo Caliente is very small and the grocery store in Carson has better shopping then the two grocery stores there, but Ojo Caliente has the Hot Springs. Probably one the nicest outdoor spas in the country, you have to go there to understand how nice it is.School District
