West Plains is the largest town around (40 minute drive and offers more shopping/supplies/entertainment). Springfield, MO is about 100 miles away and is the home to Missouri State Univ.School District
Summersville School District is a small quality school district graduating roughly 20 students per year. My son had 12 in his Kindergarden classroom and I was incredibly pleased with the quality education that he received. Sports programs are emphasized in this rural area as are various outdoor recreational activities.Community
