What makes your home a Green or Healthy Home?
Built from onsite fir trees and bordered on the south by protected federal lands. Surrounded by the Hiawatha National Forest. Completely off grid. Recently very well insulated with attention to prevent rot and pests; this means less wood burned in the woodstove and the cabin maintains a comfortable temperature in the wintertime.Property Description
**Recently featured in October on Cabin Porn** For someone who truly wants to get away to hunt or observe nature. There is no vehicular access to this property. Hand pump well. Electricity is provided by gasoline generator. There is a propane heater as well as a woodstove that was installed in 2013. Get your muck boots out as you will be walking through the muskeg to get to the cabin. There is a pallet trail leading back to the cabin through the bog as seen in the provided pictures. At the bottom of the listing is a link to the interactive Google map.

I've tracked many deer here and large sheds have been found on the property. Bears frequent the area, but I haven't seen any personally. This is a great area for ruffed grouse as well as snowshoe hare. Other wildlife seen on property or within a 7 mile radius includes ravens, bald eagles, coyotes, foxes, fishers and red squirrels.
