What makes your home a Green or Healthy Home?
A state-of-the-art off-the-grid electrical system was professionally installed by ProVision Technologies and Energy Plus Electric Company. The inside of the house was painted with low VOC paint, we only clean with organic products and no pesticides have been used on this property. The county provides our water plus we have a rain filled 5,000 gallon reserve tank.Property Description
Upstairs consists of a carpeted bedroom, tiled master bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, finished oak-floor living room, office and tiled kitchen and dining area. Two sky lights, a Lancelot undermount stainless steel sink, Millspride cabinets, Earthstone Sandrift counter top, 4-stage Topway Global reverse osmosis water filter, ConServ refrigerator, and spacious pantry make this kitchen a chef’s delight. In the bedroom a naturally finished Pacific Rim maple queen bed holds an organic Shepherd’s Dream wool mattress, 2 end tables, and a mirrored chest of drawers. Finished cherry wood in the den supports a bamboo-inlaid desk, solid wood bookcase, and a “store-all” cabinet. DSL internet service and router provides remote capabilities. An Iron Berkshire fireplace cozies up the living room on those rare chilly nights. The upper deck is 12 by 28 feet and offers a view of the Pacific. The lower section of the house consists of an all-purpose room (an inner stairway connects to the upper floor) with a double-doored formal entry and another door leading to the combination garage, laundry and storage area. The guest room features a custom-built queen bed with Tempur Pedic mattress, a heated armoire, 2 nap-inducing chairs and foot stools, a Japanese Koa wood sliding bathroom door, tastefully appointed kitchen, and an Avalon Hideaway fireplace. The lower deck (12 x 12) is also maintenance-free Trex – a recycled plastic product. The “hut” is an 8 x 8 stand alone structure designed for meditation, reading and other forms of “just being”.
