Property Description

Enjoy the quiet life at 6300 feet elevation with this 1100 sq.ft. home that has been recently redecorated and had a lot of work done including a new greywater system and new solar system. The house comes with two wells, one supplies the house with a 1200 gallon storage tank and the other well is at the back of the property with a 10,000 tank for irrigation or livestock. The property is 40 acres and completely fenced in. Plus there is a 50 X 50 barn with stables and a tack room. The area around the barn, 2 acres, is fenced in and strong enough to keep in Buffalo which the prior owners raised. There are two outbuildings; one is where the water tank is kept, the other is where the solar equipment is kept and is big enough with shelving to be a storage/ hobby shop. That outbuilding is 10 X 20. The solar system provides 1020 watts of generating power into a battery bank with 3000 amp/hours plus an Air-X 400 wind generator. Also installed is a system for powering the house in two other ways as back-up systems. These two options are with direct generator feed to the house or another emergency back-up utilizing a smaller inverter that can be connected to batteries that can be added in the closet next to the bathroom. House has a septic system. Internet is through either satellite or Verizon wireless, satellite TV available and cell phone service works depending on the service provider. A local propane company delivers to the house as do FEDEX and UPS but no postal service from the USPS. So much is included with this homestead such as a small man made pond (prior owners used it for ducks), washer and propane dryer, propane wall heater, swamp cooler, refrigerator, 5500 generator in it's own custom built storage box, an emergency shelter already in place for personalized modifications and much more. With so much accessible room this property is perfect as a getaway place, full time residence or even set up as an emergency "bug-out" location. There is lots of room to add out buildings, a greenhouse or even a few RVs if the need is there in order to provide for the entire family a location for safety. Witch Wells has been said by many well known survivalists as a very prime location for surviving a myriad of disasters. There have been many upgrades and repairs done throughout the house and property including a new insulated well box, piping insulation, grey water system, some electrical, new and reinforced fencing around the house, a Dog play area built with trees for shade, landscaping plus more around the exterior which can be explained in further detail to interested buyers. Inside the house much has been redecorated including new paint throughout, new flooring in the kitchen, bathroom and master bedroom as well as the paint/utility room. The bathroom has had a makeover as well besides the new flooring with a rebuilt toilet new light fixture and more. The kitchen has also had new custom built open shelving installed with reclaimed wood and a custom built counter with open shelving and large basin copper sink. The additions and improvement made to the house are quite a list including everything from a new house pressure feed pump to all new wiring for the well pump to the house. Much, much more information can be accessed on the website which will include many more detailed pictures and descriptions of the house and property as well as a video tour. Video tour available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qt9jgtrT8ng&feature=youtu.be This property is the only full time residence on the road which is about 4 miles off the highway. The nearest full time residence near the property is about two miles away so plenty of privacy. The property cannot be found on GPS or Google map utilizing the address so directions will be given to interested buyers. Price is negotiable with cash offers.
