The roof is core 10 steel. It is a product from Japan that has a high copper content. It is allowed to form a rust patina and no treatment is ever required thereafter. The roof will outlive your grandchildrens grandchildren. All of the floors are Clay "Saltio" tiles. They should last forever. Central forced air heating is installed but only the wood stove is used. There is also a large concrete block shop with equipment storage areas under roof. There are two lakes. One is approx. 50 acre feet and the other approximately 7 acre feet. Additionally there is approximately 53 acres of producing vineyard. Varities includeCabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Syrah. Gold medal wines have been produced from our fruit. Lastly there is a beautiful quest cabin/studio with cedar siding inside and out.
